| Miss Lovewater Miss L is the protector and patron of the town whose name she has adopted. Her age, origin and species are all unknown. It's very rare that she'll encounter residents. If you do happen to meet her in person, afterwards you'll find it difficult to describe how she looked or sounded. The general impression is one of beauty, calm, and a sense of safety. You may recall scents of ginger and lilies. |
Town Hall: Leila Barakat Leila is in her late twenties and was born and raised in Lovewater, so is very much attuned to its weirdness - if a little naive about how life works outside the boundaries of the town. As the council's Community Engagement Lead, she acts as a first point of contact for problems with the fabric of the town - damage to buildings and minor nuisance complaints being a couple of examples. |
Chamber of Commerce: Thomas Wallace Thomas moved to Lovewater about twenty years ago, originally as a temporary bolthole, but eventually he put down roots and made the decision to stay. Once a civil lawyer by profession, Thomas now leads the Chamber of Commerce, which runs all commercial enterprise on behalf of Lovewater's residents. Anyone interested in buying a new home or starting a business will have to direct their queries to him. |
Court Park Hospital: Dr. Elodie Bohen While maintaining a part-time clinical practice as a consultant psychiatrist, Elodie oversees the management of Court Park Hospital alongside a small board of their colleagues. They are a relative newcomer to Lovewater, having arrived five years previously - but having served a similar role in her previous workplace, they were quickly absorbed into the hospital's senior management. Queries about the treatment of serious illness and injury will be fielded via their inbox. |
Police: Valerian Lakeside Valerian has been a part of Lovewater's community for almost as long as the town has been closed off to the outside world, and may be several centuries older. He's vague on the topic of his background and species, but would read as elven to most of Earth's consumers of fantasy. Having once led the royal guard for his city of origin - again, details are patchy - he was quick to join the local police force, and now coordinate its efforts for the town. Questions about law and order will ultimately go to him. |
IC: Contact an NPC
If you would like to contact one of Lovewater's representatives, please do so here here; put the name of the person you would like to contact in the title of your comment. Please note that Miss L will very seldom respond to attempts to contact her in this way, but may forward messages elsewhere.
