Businesses, Jobs & Clubs

These listings are constantly subject to change! If your character has gotten a job at an existing business, or would like to start a business, please comment using the form below and this page will be updated.

If a character wants to start their own business, they will have to cash in two months' reward in exchange for the startup capital.

Existing/NPC-run businesses and amenities

Other businesses will be added as characters volunteer to work in them. For example, if you want your character to work in (or run) a bookshop - say so, and the bookshop will be added to the list! Niche businesses may not yet exist and may need some further discussion.

The Lovewater Exchange market is a collection of small stalls mostly run by sole traders; you'd probably have to start your own, and again, that would be added to this list!

It isn't likely that there will be more than two shops selling the same thing - if it's a small niche, there might only be one!

Specialist services such as medical surgeries, spas, restaurants, hairdressers' etc. also count as businesses - characters can join one which already exists, or start their own.

Clubs and regular activities

Want to run a book club? Want to hire out The Beehive's basement cinema for a weekly movie night? Want to teach kung fu? These won't make you any money, but it does count as service to the community in Miss L's eyes. These will be listed here.

In-universe, regular activities are advertised on a noticeboard in the town square.
