Housing Guide & Register

By default, newcomers to Lovewater are housed in a central area of town, just south of the Town Square and bordering on Lovewater Gate Park.
There are two main streets in this area: Bell Street, running from north to south, and Hyde Lane, running east to west. Those in newcomers' residences will have a small flat in either a purpose-built block of 3 or 4 floors, or one floor of a converted two-storey house.
In both cases it will have one double bedroom, one bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen/living space. Flats will also have a balcony overlooking the street, or - on the ground floor - a small garden to the rear of the building.
Reasonable need-based adaptations to housing - for example, blackout shutters for vampires - will already have been made when newcomers move in. Blocks of flats will have lifts; adapted houses generally will not.
Rent is not charged for this housing, however there is a modest tarriff for energy. Please turn off the lights when you leave.
After newcomers have their feet under the table and a source of income, they're welcome to contact the Chamber of Commerce to discuss moving into more spacious or appropriate accommodation.
