Yes, this would be possible. However, that time has to be lived out consecutively. So, Bob could live in Lovewater for six months for Alice, then six months for Jane. He couldn't live there for a year and then decide how to divide up the time between his loved ones.

Date: 26/01/2022 20:09 (UTC)Question: With regards to the AUs are they all intended to be thematically slice of life (college au / mermaid au etc) or will there be other genres?
Answer: The plan right now is not to limit it at all, and one of the things which will be made available is a suggestion post so that players can recommend AUs they'd like to play. Anything explicitly linked to a particular canon will probably be avoided, at least for now, so for example - high fantasy yes, but not LOTR-verse specifically.
Question: You mention Canon OCs in like Dragon Age/games with a lot of choice elements in it, but what about MMO OCs? Like the Warrior of Light in FF14?
Answer: Player characters from MMOs are allowed if they don't prevent other PCs from joining on the same terms. To give an example: the FF14 storyline has one Warrior of Light and many 'adventurers'. From the perspective of an individual player, their character is the single Warrior of Light and every other player character is an 'adventurer' who helps them out sometimes. For Lovewater purposes, you could app your character as an adventurer but not as the Warrior of Light.

Date: 26/01/2022 21:17 (UTC)I see the protection as being similar to the Plot Armor trope: the person benefiting may still have brushes with death and end up being hurt, but significantly less hurt than they might have been otherwise - and certainly not killed. And yes, this would apply to someone actively seeking out and engaging with dangerous situations.

Date: 23/02/2022 08:13 (UTC)1) Is the existing test drive meme open until it hits captcha or will a new one be published for each app round?
2) If a character is hoping for protection for someone who's dying of a terminal disease AND actively operating in a war zone, would Lovewater be able to grant protection against both those things? Would giving up special abilities on entry be required for that level of protection? Or would the special power have to be given up permanently to get rid of the disease, or something? (Characters in question would be Inami wanting to protect Takiko from Fushigi Yugi: Genbu Kaiden, if that helps. And Inami's powers are god-given, if that further influences the answer.)

Date: 23/02/2022 10:16 (UTC)1) I think it'll be open until captcha! It would be lovely if we get there. :')
2) The protection is against death for a particular period of time. That's due to any cause, which can mean multiple causes; however, Miss L cannot permanently get rid of a disease.
